Here at ProDip KUSTOM HYDRODIPPING & COLOURED CHROME we aim to create finishes truly unique for our clients whether is be a car, bike or many many other applications. Our Hydrographic artist Tim Bailey has a very creative imagination and is happy to consult with clients to meet their individual requirements.
Tim is extremely fussy in his work ethic and a job will not leave to workshop unless he is happy with the end result.
ProDip began operation in October 2023. Originally at Granville then moving to Jamisontown after a fire tore through our workshop destroying everything. Our Hydrographic Artist set to learning the art of Hydrodipping. This being a challenge as there are so many skills involved. From prep, paint, making KUSTOM colours then the pattern transfer process through to the final protective clear coats. Our Hydrographics Artist worked as a Carpenter until ProDip was started.
The process is quite complex and common belief it that it is a wrap like vinyl. This is NOT the case. Yes there is a film involved but it is merely a carrier for the pattern. The film actually turns into a jelly type substance which must be rinsed off the article immediately or the job is ruined.
With our recent acquisition of a state of the art finishing system we are able to offer chroming services in 12 different colours including the old school silver chrome. Every colour is also able to be Kustomised lighter or darker to suit our clients requirements.
From Standard Carbon Fibre to Kustom colour Carbon Fibre and Hundreds of different patterns from all over the world. We have access to them all. Final finishes in High Gloss, Satin or Matt 2 Pak Clear. All of the materials we use are of the highest quality and final finishes are 2 PAK Clear.
With our recent acquisition of a system from Abroad we are able to offer 12 different colours in Crome as well as the old school silver Chrome. Each colour can be Kustomised to suit a clients individual requirements.
We are also able to do Blackout work on any type of vehicle.
